何前程中文首頁

Chian C. Ho was born in Taipei, Taiwan, in 1973. He received his B.S. degree in electrical engineering from National Chung Cheng University in Chiayi, Taiwan, in 1996. After four-year pursuit of M.S. and Ph.D. degrees, he received his Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering still from National Chung Cheng University in 2000. Just before his graduation in 2000, he went to Department of Electrical Engineering, University of California at Los Angles , as a visiting Ph.D. student for three months. From 2000 to 2005, he worked at ChungHwa Telecom Labs for VoIP equipment development in Taoyuan, Taiwan. Since 2005, he has joined the faculty of Department of Electrical Engineering, National Yunlin University of Science and Technology in Yunlin, Taiwan. He serves as an associate professor now. Besides, he has joined IEEE society as a student member and a member for over 20 years.

His research interests in the past include Sigma-Delta A/D converter design, digital filter design, and VLSI implementation. Since working at ChungHwa Telecom Labs in 2000, his research interests have turned to focus on:

  1. Embedded Processor Firmware (ARM, Cortex-M);
  2. Real-time Operating System Integration(eLinux, Android);
  3. Visual Robotics Application (OpenCV, ROS).

While studying in National Chung Cheng University, he had served as a president for Student Association of Electrical Engineering Department for two years. He had also served as a vice president for Alumni Association of National Taiwan Normal University’s Affiliated Senior High School. On the other hand, he was one of the founders of Astronomy Club. He had also won lots of basketball games on behalf of National Chung Cheng University’s basketball school team for four years.
